Our Partnership
Audrey and Misha started skating together in May 2016.
Before teaming up, Audrey was a single skater who competed at the U.S. Championships in the juvenile and intermediate level. She was the 2015 U.S. Southwestern Regional Champion.
Misha had previously competed with other partners. He was searching for a partner at the end of the 2015-2016 season when his coach, Aleksey Letov asked Audrey to try pairs. After skating together for a couple weeks, Audrey and Misha teamed up.
On April 4, 2022, Audrey and Misha announced the end of their partnership as Audrey will be attending school at UCLA in the fall of 2022. Audrey and Misha both plan to keep skating.
Audrey and Misha were coached by Olga Ganicheva and Aleksey Letov. Their programs were choreographed by Adam Blake and Evgeni Nemirovski. Audrey and Misha had trained in Dallas, Texas, but then relocated with Ganicheva and Letov to the Skating Club of Boston in Norwood, Massachusetts.
Audrey
When did you begin skating? I started skating when I was 4 years old.
How did you begin skating? I fell in love with ice skating the first time I got on the ice. My mom took me to an ice rink in the mall. I got on the ice and did not want to leave even if I fell so many times and my clothes were all wet.
What is your favorite thing about skating? I love the joy of flying across the surface of a friction-less world. My favorite things are jumping and the feeling of accomplishing a goal.
What is your least favorite thing about skating? When I don’t deliver what I was training for at a competition.
What is your favorite thing about skating with Misha? He knows when to comfort me and when to push me.
Misha
When did you begin skating? I started skating when I was 4 years old.
How did you begin skating? I was born with a weak immune system and the doctor said I should be in a sport to strengthen my immune system and after trying a lot of sports, 4-year-old me liked figure skating the best.
What is your favorite thing about skating? The feeling of a good skate at a competition, knowing your hard work paid off.
What is your least favorite thing about skating? The time after the six minute warm-up and getting on the ice to compete.
What is your favorite thing about skating with Audrey? Her organization. I can always rely on her to know our schedule.
